In terms of machining envelope, the facility supports milling operations up to ~30 inches and turning capacities up to 20 inches in diameter. Common materials include iron, steel, aluminum, brass, and specialty alloys used in heavy-duty, industrial, and engineered applications. Off Site Manufacturing supports a wide range of annual production volumes, from low-volume runs (as few as ~100 pieces) to high-volume programs approaching ~500,000 units or more. Off Site builds custom fixtures in-house to ensure parts are machined accurately and repeatably. The typical design and build cycle for new fixtures is 8–12 weeks, depending on complexity. Most new part introductions are ready for full production — including PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submission — in 14 weeks or less, with engineering support and first-article review integrated into the timeline.
To initiate a quote, Off Site requests print files in PDF format and 3D models in STP (STEP) format. Providing both ensures a complete understanding of part geometry, tolerances, and critical features so that estimates are accurate and comprehensive.
